    Default Drafting d-men

I\'m preparing for my pool\'s draft and trying to narrow down the best d-men available.
Here are the best undrafted now and the way I see it.
    Your thoughts?

    1. Letang _PIT
    2. Russell - CBJ
    3. Kindl - DET
    4. Lee - OTT
    5. Bourdon - VAN

not the greatest on the prediction thing so i usually don\'t but...

letang- he\'s going to be playing behind whitney, gonchar and prolly sydor so he won\'t get prime time yet.
russel- if he makes it he shud be on the 1st unit and if his minor league scoring is any indication he can shoot.
kindl- sounds like he might be having a tuff time cracking the lineup, next.
lee- looks like he might have a spot for him. not sure if it will be on the top unit tho with redden and meszaros there. maybe 2nd unit tho but i could be wrong.
bourdon-pass, way to deep there with D men.

if i was looking at long term i\'d say letang for sure, once gonchar is gone the job will be his. if i was hoping for this year and later i\'d gamble on russell. could have a shot at the #1 spot on PP, he\'s going to a team that can use anything they can get, he seems to have a knack for scoring already. if his size doesn\'t screw him over he could be a nice pick up.
like i said tho i\'m not the greatest at this stuff, theres plenty of guys here who know the kids better i just haven\'t seen anyone do a post for you yet so i figured i\'d give it a go. hope it helps.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I\'ve been itching back and forth on 1 & 2.

I should have added this - it\'s a keeper league, so immediate impact is not an issue and the top d-man selection will go to my farm team until ready for regular duty.

    I\'d go

    Russell
    Kindl
    Letang
    Lee

    Why?

Russell- Assured PP time in Columbus. Who else are they going to use, Ron Hainsey?

Kindl- The Wings really like him. That means he could push other established guys aside to get the right ice time.

Letang- As was said, he\'s not going to get PP time, but he has a chance to be in the NHL, which immediately puts him ahead of Lee.

Lee- He\'s regressed. I know the Sens predicted he\'d be on the team in two years, but he\'s not ready.
