Default Christmas tinkering, advice on team. (rep)

Hi, looking for a little insight into certain areas i need to address on my team. Currently between second and third week to week, need to make up a little ground to catch first. Scoring in sig. I have three free agent trades remaining out of six for the rest of the year. I have 1.6 in cap space, so not much.

tavares, i assume he will pick it up a little, not worried about him at all.
kucherov, he's rolling better the past month.
plekanec, traded saad for him at start of the year, line juggling and a team cold streak has hurt him, but not enough to burn a trade moving him out...yet.
eriksson, traded tanguay for him, happy with his production.
zuccarello, traded hornqvist to another gm for him.
    hoffman, please keep it up.
granlund, right where i drafted him to be, 50 ish points.
forsberg, sophmore-ish slump? on pace for 53. But his cheap cap hit for this year still makes him very valuable.
boedker, happy with his production and could hit 60 this year.
palmieri, like hoffman, please keep it up.
lee, anytime now kid, 38 points is not where I want you to be by years end.
connolly, his hot streak was done awhile ago. His minutes are all over the map. As soon as palat comes back he's sent to the bench. But he's cheap!

    klingberg, i love you.
    carlson, money in the bank.
krug, hot and cold, but worth the hit.
yandle, please be traded to a team where they let you be the weapon you can be.
spurgeon, I'm dumping him after this season due to the new contract. But enjoying his great year.
murphy, in the AHL, and the canes have too many bodies in front of him.

bishop, good stats, still the man in tampa.
hellboy, riding him as long as i can and keeping him for next year.

    bench,
fabbri, will he turn it up in the second half? either way he is a keeper.
palat, can he stay healthy moving forward?
andersen, should still be the number one in Anaheim this year, but gibby is taking his share right now.

First hole is I need help on my blue line, i don't have anyone on my bench to come in and Murphy is in the AHL. So i'm wasting that spot. At least my top d men are performing beautifully, knock on wood.

Im happy with most of my forwards, lee could be upgraded and palat is concerning me for the rest of the season, both between the 3 and 4 mil cap hit. Connolly is cold, but dirt cheap, forsberg could be hotter, but i could maybe move him for an upgrade or bargaining chip. Once palat comes back i can immediately upgrade connolly, so I think Lee is the odd man out? Currently he was up with tavares, but im sick of that rotating roster spot. I could trade him for a better forward,

cammalleri, henrique, bjustad, reilly-smith, purcell are available.
Or i could move him for a d man, and put fabbri in his place.

Murray in CBJ and Daley are available. Blue liners are incredibly hard to come by, all good cheap options are gone. Both murray and daley are benefiting from injuries, but what happens when both teams are healthy? Does the new team and increased time help daley enough to edge out murray here?

Confident that between my three goalies i'm ok for the year if they stay healthy. I expect Andersen to get more starts than gibby, and hellboy is playing well enough to get the majority of starts until pavs returns.

any insight into weaknesses on my team, or players I should look at trading is greatly appreciated.

basically, do I stand pat, burn a trade for a blueliner, or upgrade a forward. Thanks everyone.

I'd try to trade for a defenseman or even pick up a guy who's playing so you don't waste a roster spot

Get rid of Murphy for sure, once that spot is not going to waste, then See what you've got. Connolly would be my first to go from the forward group.

Thanks, just tonight I made a trade with another gm.
Lee and Murphy plus a draft pick for,
    Little and Holden.
Not a blockbuster, but an upgrade on lee and at least a warm body to put up 25 points, I hope.

I did notice plekanec on the third line tonight, hopefully when Gallagher comes back that top line can get reunited .
