So I think they are not so comfortable with Condon...

Nilsson has been playing well... I just feel that the Oilers have not had a guy they can count on for the longest time now. I doubt Khudobin is the answer, but why not give him a try? He had Rask, Ward and Andersen in front of him just to name a few over the past years... I would like to see what he can do when the pressure is all on him!

Andersen has been "ill" for quite some time now. The only reason Gibson was called up was because Khudobin channeled his inner Bryzgalov and sucked ass.

No team will claim him. Most teams have cheaper alternatives that are just as good/better.

I don't think it's a vote of non-confidence. I'd be more inclined to think a move is imminent if Condon had started every single game unconditionally while Tokarski is glued to the bench. This is a typical 1A/B scenario.

For a guy who owns Lundy Gibson and Andersen in a weekly lock, start 2 league….This sucks. At least I have the insurance with both Anaheim goalies.

So, is this just a Hail Mary on the part of the Ducks, and is Gibson sent down if Khudobin clears?

I think the Habs are mostly riding the hot hand here...
Condon has been very serviceable and he'll likely get his share of games until Price returns.
Therrien is simply weathering the storm with the goalie that has the most momentum.
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

Is it going to be pretty much an even split between Andersen/Gibson now? This sucks, I have Andersen in both of my cash leagues, if he is going to be a 1b goalie on a shockingly bad ducks team, i might have to drop him. What really hurts is I traded Allen for 2 weeks into the season!

Khudobin cleared. Good for ANA as Andersen & Gibson both have injury history over the past couple of years.. having Khudobin in the minor will be a good insurance.

I'm not that surprised no team took a chance on him, only because it is a cap world. Otherwise he is a good back up or even 1B option (maybe not this year so far).

The way Gibson has been playing, I'm wondering if he is the defacto starter. He is, after all, the goalie they've signed long-term, and he is the guy that's getting the Wins...

I wonder if after todays news a couple more teams wish there was still time to claim Khudobin

seems like PIT/ARI injuries occured after khudobin cleared. PIT already has similar/better options in zatkoff/murray. ARI can't really care that much considering Matthews could be had.
