I think a d-man with an equally high ceiling would be a start. I could see Nashville being a match with Seth Jones. They could really use someone of RyJo's pedigree up front.

Wouldn't that be novel, an actual hockey trade!? Interesting deal I think and what seems to be a definite match with Nashville getting an offensive C in his prime, while Columbus gets what they need is a young stud D.

Is Columbus scheduled for an outdoor game anytime soon? If so, Johansen might be named a healthy scratch. Should help facilitate a trade.

As a RyJo owner in multiple leagues (and a closet CBJ fan), I am not sure how much I like the idea of RyJo getting dealt but it also depends on where he goes.

The one thing the Blue Jackets have been shopping for is a 1/2 Dman. I would have to assume that Johansen could snag them that. Nashville makes sense for both teams, seeing as Nashville is crying for a top center and has a multitude of excellent young Dman. Seth Jones' name came up and I could see something around that working for both. Jones isn't a 1/2 yet but could be. Maybe Josi could be the guy on the move too.

I think my own prop was some swap with COL sending Duchene's long-term contract to CBJ.
