Does anybody know of a site that lists all of the Calder Trophy eligible players for the 2007/08 season?

I already own your guides and I have been to a couple hundred sites trying to find this. My problem is that I run 3 keeper pools and I would like to have a list instead of looking at each individual separately. It seams as though everyone wants to include players with more than 25 games as prospects even though they are not rookies. My Kingdom for someone other than me to do the legwork on this!
I believe he meant the brand new, uber-awesome, super addictive, cause you to spend inordinate amounts of time on the toilet, distract you while driving, read on the way to your own wedding, guide that is coming out tomorrow. There\'s be about 30 in there.
At least I\'m pretty sure that\'s what he meant.

I meant I already pre-paid for it and I knew it would not have a complete list of calder eligible players. I am hoping he will come out with one in the future. HE WOULD BE THE FIRST! Trust me, I googled the words \"hockey fantasy\" and went through it at work for the better part of 4 hours.I believe he meant the brand new, uber-awesome, super addictive, cause you to spend inordinate amounts of time on the toilet, distract you while driving, read on the way to your own wedding, guide that is coming out tomorrow. People do not have a complete list because it is unknown who made the teams as of yet. When final rosters are complete, you will have a list of about 40 guys that would be easy to put together. If you want a list of all the players who have played less than 25 games in the NHL and are under 27 (Calder eligible), than that list would be incredibly long and would include a lot of the people who write on this forum (I\'m ineligible for the Calder, as I am 33  )

But it would not be too much to ask for someone to make a top 100 - 300 of calder aligible players. With all of the fantsy experts available you would think at least one would jump on it for a selling point. Right now I just use dobbers top 300 and hockeydb to do it myself. It is a lot of work and I am sure I would not be the only one that would appreciate a \"pro\'s\" take on it.
i think your doing a lot more work than you have to. out of those 300 guys how many are gonna make the cut to the big club. out of them how many are gonna play a full year and how many will sit in the press box or ride the pine. once the season gets going you will have a much better idea of who the eligible ones are and if there is any players that sneak onto a roster.

I am running these pools. The keeper leagues are pretty deep. When it comes to draft time we sometimes have GMs draft a guy that is off the board.(eg. Last year 1 GM drafted Jeff Tambellini off the NYI. We allowed it for he only played 21 games the year before. What nobody realized is that he played 4 games for the LA Kings the year before that and it was not on any pool guide. That gave him 25 which eliminated him from our prospect draft. Not Calder Eligible.) We ended up allowing him to keep Tambellini but I would like to avoid this in the future. Instead of doing all the work yourself, make the guys do a little work. Spell out or even quote the NHL rookie eligibility rule. Then make a rule in your pool that if the \"rookie\" you took at the prospects draft turns out not to be an NHL rookie, you forfeit that pick. You could even be nice and allow them to make another selection - of course that would end up being the last prospect taken, but it\'s either that or lose a prospect!

doesn\'t the hockeydb.com site give you the totals of how many games a player has played in each league. i used it before to find out about how many kids had played nhl games in our league to see if they had passed the 50 game mark.

If you click on each team\'s depth chart, the player with an (*) beside his name is Calder eligible. That should allow you to compile your list pretty quickly.

That site will save me a lot of time. You\'ve done it again Dobber! Thank-you.:woohoo:
Maybe you could add the same thing to your prospect list in the future.
