Is this enough for Crosby?

Crosby owner is in last place and I'd like to try and get Crosby from him. I'm thinking about offering Pavelski, Carlson and Hanzal. Is it enough? Too much? It's a keep 5, so at the end I'd get the best player and "win" this trade, but I don't want to give up on this season yet.

Unless both Carlson and Pavelski make his keeper list I would guess its not enough. I think the price to get Crosby is probably still two good keepers.

Agree with this. In a keep-five, the elite talent matters even more than a keep-12, for example and I don't think any of the guys you offered would be a keeper (off the top of my head, he would probably keep Crosby, Perry, Tarasenko, Voracek and Shattenkirk). That means one of the players you send him needs to be a major upgrade on one of those guys. If I were him, I'd only trade Crosby if I was getting one of McDavid, Karlsson or Holtby back.Originally Posted by Laendarian

It's not even close to enough if the other guy has any competence. If he's at the bottom of the league, those players aren't going to help him much anyways.

Obviously, I though I'll try and see if he's frustrated enough by Crosby's slow start (he is last in our league after 2 weeks) and also sell high on Hanzal and Carlson. I know it's still early in the season, but I guess my keepers are McDavid, Karlsson, MacKinnon, Holtby and Eichel, with Landeskog as a very close 6th... maybe I could try with some combination of Pavelski, Landeskog and Eichel. For some reason I don't think he values Eichel as much as I do though.

In a keep 5 Crosby is virtually untradeable. Unless you're offering McDavid/Holtby + Karlsson, you're wasting your time.
