Would you trade Ehlers to land Krug?
I like Ehlers potential, but with Green and Gardiner injuries I'm starting to be thin on D...
Should add that neither would be keepers (keep 6) for me. But we have a 7th keeper spot for rookies. Ehlers qualifies for the rookie spot, but teams from the top division of the league don't get that 7th keeper (I'm in that top division). But the gm recieving Ehlers in this trade could keep him on this slot, adding to his value.

Keeper, I'd hang on to Ehlers. Looking at your roster he could end up being your #5 point getter in a few years. I've already been to a few home games, hitting Jets vs. LA tomorrow...Ehlers has been improving steadily and has a great chance to hit 50 as a rookie.
I'd try moving Nyquist/Spezza/Stastny/Lucic/Yakupov/Williams/Atkinson/Burakovsky before Ehlers.....

While I'm not against the idea of trading Ehlers, I think you can get more for him if the other team can keep him.

I would hang on to Ehlers. Your sure fire keepers for now are Ovi, Malkin, Stamkos and Price. Maybe Eberle as the 5th. He could be quite easily be the 6th as early as next year.

This - you need a d-man but Krug is not worth Ehlers, who (as stated above) could be a keeper for you next year.
Like Rad64 said, I would try to move any of the players he mentioned to a different GM if he's stuck on Ehlers.

I think I would do that, OEL is a couple of tiers above Krug in pretty much any format and a keeper for you for sure IMO.

I, too, think OEL is a better option, but looking at the last two seasons:
OEL 43-44 points, Krug 39-40 points.
That's a difference of 4 points/season...
Almost sure I won't keep a D. Went for 5 forwards + Price for a couples of years now. Happy with this strategy.
