I think you should do it. I think Malkin is going to have a big year
Just got offered Gino, Hudler and Spezza for Getzlaf and Ryan Strome.
I'm big on Strome, I see him as a 70 point player with an even higher ceiling if it all comes together. Getzlaf needs no explaining.
On the other hand, Gino is still world-class. Even with the injuries he's likely a top 7/8 player. Hudler is a one-year guy in my books - Age+UFA at years end. Spezza is a value player who should be good for 60. Nothing to sneeze at, but taking in account my forwards (which are very deep) he likely won't see a ton of playing time.
The value is there, but do I like swapping of youth for 64 combined years of Hudlezza?
Thoughts?

I'd take that deal as well.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.
League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.
We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.
Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid
Here's the thing.. With my forwards, it's basically shipping two keepers (Strome and Getz) for Malkin. Hudler would have to beat out Hank Sedin, Nyquist, or even a prospect like Goldbin. Not an easy spot to be in, especially if he walks from that top line in Calgary. Or if he even stays on that top line
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards 'no'

This guy is really hound doggin' me on this trade. He's upped his offer by including three 2nd round picks for my three 4th round picks making the deal..
Getzlaf, R. Strome + three 4ths
for
Malkin, Hudler, Spezza + three 2nds.
I'ma keep working him, I want Couture instead of Spezza and if his love for Strome is as high as he says it is, he'll give me the broken-legged man.

I would definitely do it if you could get Couture in for Spezza
To me, Sedin or Nyquist is a better keeper than Strome anyways in that they are both better proven commodities than Strome (though Strome's trade value is probably higher). If you're win-now mode, take Sedin. More future guy, take Nyquist.
Getting the three second rounders makes the deal better, but I suggested taking the original deal anyways.

For limited keeper leagues always look to consolidate I would do this.
Hard to give up on strome but malkin is worthit

Oh yeah, this deal is done if he ships me Couture. I absolutely think i'm getting good value with his offer as it stands, I'm just concerned that i'm shipping a young Keeper in Strome for two rentals (Spezza and Hudler).
Getzlaf has outproduced Malkin in the last 1, 3 and 4 season scoring totals due to Malkin's fondness for the IR.
In my mind I see it as,
Getzlaf =/ Malkin
Strome+three 4ths < Hudler+Spezza+three 2nd's
Man. Writing it out like this, really illustrates the value i'm being offered. I'll keep working for Logan Couture, but I think i'll have to take the current offer if he doesn't budge
