I acquired Halak (4.5m) and J.Faulk (5m)
I had to give Rinne (6.5m) and Zibanejad (2.5m)
I usually ask for advice here but man oh man I felt so confident. Halak should be back by the 19th of october for week n.2 and I think Faulk will become a real beast offensivly. I hope I'm right.

I like that you got Faulk, I really like his game for fantasy! I am not a fan of Halak and his injuries, but he is on a great team and he is a bit younger then Rinne (and Rinne also has lost some time to injury recently). I would say this is a good trade for sure.

I liked the Rinne side better cause I don't trust Halak.

Pretty close given your scoring. Salaries are basically a wash so not worth discussing.
Faulk and Halak are best in points only as Faults +/- and Halaks's peripherals are the problem. Halak's injury history concerns me a bunch.
From your signature and post it sounds like you have a weekly start league. With a start 5D and Letang/Shatt/OEL/Buff/Weber D-core Faulk is only coverage for when Letang or, another D-man, goes down. Whereas Rinne/Halak were/are both in your starting lineup. So you downgraded a starting position (Rinne> Halak IMO) to upgrade a bench spot (adding Faulk). For that reason I don't like the deal for your team. Also, Zibanejad was likely in your top-10 so you hurt yourself at Forward as well.
Basically, given your lineup I'm not sure it made sense to pay a starting F and downgrade at G to add to your D-core.

Forgot to mension, I traded Weber for Duchene + 2nd, my bad, also, Varlamov is available as well as Schneider, Niemi, Pavelec, Lehtonen, Howard, Hiller. I tryed to get rid of Weber for a while because of his huge salary and his decreasing (?) production.
So you could view it as Halak Faulk Duchene + 2nd + Free agent goalie for Rinne, Weber and Ziba

I like Faulk a lot and Halak is a sure bet for 35+ wins. I think you did pretty well
