No rush on anything, but not sure what the hell to do.

12 F 6 D 2 G 5 Bench

I just sold off a lot of vets, core looks like this:

F: Malkin, Perry, Kopitar, Duchene, Gaudreau, R Strome
D: Klingberg, Vatanen, Stralman
G: Dubnyk, Jones, Lack, M Smith
Farm: McDavid, Ehlers, Mantha, Fiala, A Lee, Domi, Pulock, Wennberg....the 10th, 14th, 20th picks in this entry draft.

I have no picks in first 6 rounds of re draft (shitty nhl fillers), have lots of top picks in prospect draft. Im gonna be a bottom feeder this year regardless. My question is should I be looking to move Kopitar, and to a lesser extent Perry and Malkin. What should I look for in trading them? I hope to end up with Auston Mathews, or the 2nd pick this year, and then make a bounce back push.

You are in a dangerous situation. I have seen a lot of gms who ruined their teams for the next 10 years, just because they felt they need to get the youngest players the can get and traded away all their top players.

Players like Kopitar or Malkin are not that old, they should still have 4 or 5 really good years left, so you should consider to build around them.

If you decide to move them, don't just move them for rookies and picks, you should target young players who have high upside and are already playing in the NHL.

Just to drop a few names, try to get guys like Drouin, Yakupov, Huberdeau, RNH, MacKinnon or Monahan.

Unless this is a salary cap league, I'd' be keeping your core guys.
