Does anybody have anything new on the status\'s of Joe Sakic, Mats Sundin or Brendan Shanahan. I havent heard anything about these guys plans in a very long time. Well, more so the other two than Sundin anyway.
And correct me if im wrong, but isnt Selanne a UFA this off-season? Whats going on with him?

Nothing firm on any of them... but here\'s my speculation, because the Toronto Media doesn\'t do enough on their own.
Sundin - Vancouver 1 year
Sakic - returns to COL
Selanne - waiting for Burke to trade Schneider and free up enough cap space to sign, but will play (I hope based on the fact I have him on my team!)
Shanny - if he does play it`ll be somewhere like Nash or Minn who need scoring depth. He\'s the most likely to retire in my mind.

I read somewhere that Sakic said he only wants to return if he feels he has the ability to be the no. 1 center again on the team. He won\'t play any lesser role...
