Dobbs/Burnsy
Is this going to be a keeper league or a year to year league?

Sorry for the late response. I was out of town. I am honored to accept the invitation.
Apologies for the delayed response. I\'m just back from ten days of camping in northern Maine. Amazing vistas, but not much in the way of internet access.
I am honored at the invitation, and hope to post my acceptance soon. I am, however, beginning a new position on Tuesday, and want to be sure that it will allow me sufficient time to do justice to the league.
If you can give us a date by which invitations must be accepted or declined, I will make sure to have an answer to you by then.
Thanks,
TG

Hey Dobber, can we know the rules ?
Looks like a pretty great idea B)

DobberHockey will be having a three-tier roto competition going this season, including an expert league. All divisions and details will be run by Burnsy (Chris Burns). Here are some more details.
DobberHockey Expert League
1. Darryl Dobbs, DobberHockey
2. Chris Burns, DobberHockey
3. Jeff Angus, DobberHockey
4. Matt Bugg, DobberHockey
5. Steve Johnson, DobberHockey
6. Tim O\'Brien, DobberHockey
7. Russell Miller, DobberHockey
8. Jim Gunther, DobberHockey
9. Jon (J.P.) Press, Japers\' Rink
10. Gus Katsaros, McKeen\'s Hockey
11. Scott Cullen, TSN.ca
12. Duke Riley, FSN.ca, DobberHockey
DobberHockey Pro Division
This is another invite-only division and it has certain criteria. Criteria #1: you must buy the pool guide (a no-brainer, as I’m sure you have already) by September 1. Criteria #2: you must be a regular participant in the forum. Priority invites go to the members who have participated the most (as of this moment). They have the right of first refusal.
Invitations:
2. Zorro – 503
3. hockeylifer – 442
4. repenttokyo – 338
5. Pete – 290
6. 87Flyer – 254
7. Loki – 230
8. smoothfun – 220
9. Orrfan – 204
10. dynamo45 – 199
11. fergie26 – 197
13. doulos – 191
14. hoopej2 – 189
If any of the above refuse (accept or refuse on this thread please) and/or do not buy a guide (which is their right, of course), then invitations will be extended to the following…in order:
15. Jason_Banks – 181
16. WhatthePuck? - 157
17. reeveta – 151
18. big_dl – 143
19. jaymur – 137
20. BlueOrrFan – 113
21. DobberManiac – 110
22. Shoeless – 110 (if it gets down this far, I’ll come up with a tie-breaker)
Did I miss anyone? Let me know, I think I have everyone though...
The top two finishers in the pro division will have the right to participate in the Expert Division next season. The bottom two from the Expert will drop to the pro division. The top two will also receive next year’s version of the Ultimate Fantasy Pack, plus a DobberHockey T-shirt. Burnsy will have rules and drafting information within two weeks or so.
Entry Division
This is purely for Pool Guide Buyers. If you bought a pool guide by September 1, you will be automatically entered into a random draw. Twelve people will receive invites via email on September 2. Any who refuse, or do not respond within 48 hours, will be replaced by more random draws. Top two finishers will receive same prizes as in the pro division, and will also win the right to enter the Pro Division next season. Details on that to come….

so it\'s goals, assists, points, penalties, and plus minus for the skaters?
I got an email this weekend saying the draft is now starting at 10 pm. I thought it was starting at 9? I wasn\'t able to meet the new day once we switched it from Sunday to Monday but if there was a 9 pm start I\'d be able to at least catch the first couple of rounds before my league hockey game.
What time does it actually start?
Also, where are the draft picks from the first league draft that happened last week? I thought they were going to be posted somewhere.
9 pm central, 10 eastern. log into the Yahoo page and it gives you the time for your timezone, with a countdown.

I know the email said 10 EST but why in the world would we be talking about 9 pm CST in the first place? Doesn\'t most of the population live in EST? Why such a late start?
