    Default PPP Risers

Any ideas of forwards that we expect to be big PPP risers this year (10+ increase)? It surprised me to see some pretty good 2nd - 3rd tier forwards with pretty low PPP. Guys like Wheeler (12), Carter (15), Iginla (13), Nash (12). When looking to draft someone from that crop of 50-60pt guys, it seems like PPP may be an important thing to note. Anyone suspect an increase of some of these, or similar, guys?

Duchene will definitely improve on his 7 PPP from last year, considering he had 17 in '13-14 and Colorado's PP was awful.

    Good thread.
One of my fave things to target are guys who have solid ESP but may have had unluck on their PP units.
Most PP1 guys will get 15-25 PPP... so if they were on PP1 and they had a low count, good chance they'll rise just by correction.

I suspect the Rangers's PP will get better with a full year of Yandle on it. Nash should see an increase in his PPP, perhaps as high as 20.

David Savard on D in Columbus.
Just resigned, had 11 goals and 36 points and will be moving up to prime PP time with Wisniewski gone to Carolina. Wisniewski played the Lions share of Columbus PP time among D, followed by JJ and Savard. Savard on the 2nd PP unit had 10 PP points

With and improved NYR PP, do you think Brassard stays pat on his PPP? Improves or slight regression?

I'd keep an eye on a guy like Tyler Toffoli, he had only 5PPP last year and could see a nice increase in PPTOI this season.

I think he stays. Nash-Brassard-Stepan-Yandle in my mind should be on the top PP. Then maybe Kreider or Zuccarello as the 5th guy.

I agree, Toffoli is a safe bet for a good increase in PPP. I'd also add Lucic, now that he'll likely see time on LA's PP (he only had 8 PPP last year). Ryan Strome on NYI will definitely top his 8 PPP (I think he's in for a big season in general!). I'd also imagine John Carlson would add to his PP totals, now that he will be the main man at the blue line for WSH this year. He shouldn't have too much of a problem topping his 16pts of last year.

Here's a couple that were not listed:

TJ Oshie (better situation in Washington if he can land on the 1st PP unit)
Galchenyuk (more responsibilities in Montreal and emerging as their top center sooner than later)
MacKinnon (had a bad year, should be better)
Kunitz (should bounce back even though he is not getting younger)
