For the league in my sig, but I'm not involved in this trade, just to have your thoughts...
The gm owning the 2nd OA pick put it on the block to see what he could fetch.
He received an offer of Hall straight up for his pick.
The gm sending Hall would get to replace him with a 6th keeper (probably Yakupov because I know he's really high on him). He will also have two 1st rounders (2nd OA and his own 4th OA).
The gm recieving Hall is in need for keepers, he doesn't have a decent top 6. He would make his 1st pick at #23 in the snake draft.
To add to this, we have a 7th keeper slot opening for the 2016-2017 draft. This 7th keeper needs to have played no more than 82 games. This add to Eichel's value because he becomes a "free" keeper for next year draft.
In a keep 6, I think there's is no real rebuild mode, every team has a chance to win with a decent keeper set and a good draft.
So, wich side of the trade would you want?

Hall vs. Eichel is about as even a straight-up trade of Studs I can think of.
Hall is a young, previously #1 pick on a high-octane up and coming Oilers. He's had flashes of PPG scoring but has had injury troubles.
Eichel is by most accounts a generational player, who would go #1 any other year, but he still hasn't played an NHL game yet.
For the next 2 seasons I prefer Hall, after that I prefer Eichel but either could outscore the other in any of those seasons and I wouldn't be stunned.
Given the makeup of the 2 teams trading, and your league rules, it sounds like this might be a trade where both sides improve. IT will be a fun one to look back on in 5 years for sure.

Personally, with Hall's chronic injury history, I'd take Eichel. But that's a very even deal.

I believe in Eichel and the fact that your league doesn't care about forward positions lessens Hall's value. Combine that with Hall's injury history and I would side with Eichel.

I'd prefer taking a far more known commodity in Hall. Eichel is projected to be extremely good, but Hall/Seguin are already extremely good. Hall is my guy.
