Early draft tomorrow!

Hey fellas,

Our group of 8 are doing two drafts tomorrow, one H2H and one ROTO - $50 a team for the season, winner take all.
In H2H I draft 7th and in ROTO I draft 2nd.

Roto: G,A,+/-,PIM,PPP,SOG,FOW,HIT,BLK / W,GAA,SV%,SVS
The guy drafting 1st in ROTO has said he is taking Crosby but he is auto-drafting and I'm not sure if he has set his auto-draft priorities yet!
If he takes Crosby I will take Ovechkin for sure but if Ovechkin goes to him I am wondering who I should take with my 2nd pick?
Is Crosby the definite pick here if OV goes first? Does Tavares make a case for himself?

You have to go Crosby 2nd overall if Ovy goes first... if you don't him there is always a lot of trade value for him and you could probably trade Crosby for Tavares and a small upgrade somewhere else.

A second vote for Crosby, especially in a one year league. If it was a new keeper, than I might suggest Tavares, but not yet in a single season competition.

OV/Crosby should go 1a/1b in just about all FOW/HIT multi-cat leagues.
If it's Yahoo! and or 8-team league, I'd probably go Ovechkin first because he's LW/RW (good flexibility) and there'll be enough FOW in a shallower league (8-teams).
