I wouldnt mind if the isles added a depth d like Jan Hejda to pair with Hickey.

deHaan and Hamonic make me nervous with their injury woes.

I'd also like to see what a fresh coaching staff could do ; kinda how the Hawks upgraded from denis savard to coach Q

Yea, I think defensive depth is one the biggest weaknesses and I just can't help but feel this coaching staff is not good enough to get them to the next level. I also think they need to find a way to sign Okposo to a team friendly contract or make a trade to maximize his worth....neither will be easy.

As a Montreal fan I have been waiting my whole life to have a stud 80+ first line center. I love the current group of guys including Plekanec but he is a perfect 2nd line center behind a Tavares type. Galchenyuk is currently where all hopes reside for the possibility but he seems more like a Top 6 then a Top 1 guy. We have never had this player in my life time. I love patches but he needs a centerman to ride with so Tommy P can anchor the 2nd unit. Outside of that I am largely happy with the team assembled. The depth forwards are great with Flynn Mitchell DSP Fleischman Weise all excellent bottom 6 guys.
