LOL! I won't lie, I wasn't watching it that closely.

Assuming Moncrief (IND) doesn't go for 30+pts tonight... I should be 6-2.
    Woohoo!

I thought I was toast after a Thursday night game that had cannon with Brady (30pts), Gronk (17pts) and NE-D (15pts). I was like a 20% Dog on Friday!

My boys showed UP this week!
    Odell with 31pts (3 TD)
    Edelman with 20pts (2 TD)
Tavon with 22pts (2 TD). [as my WR3, he actually outscored my traded-away Demaryius who had 16.8 on 168yd]
    Gurley with 21pts (1 TD)

And now I gotta a #1 waiver wire to use on a RB... to decide, to decide... {rubbing hands together}...

    Bring on the Unsullied!

Its not looking good for me tonight. It looks like I've lost Steve Smith for the year too. Scrambling again to find a suitable replacement.

I remember an earlier matchup where I thought I was comfortable going into the Monday night game and my opponent had a monster game to come back and win. I wouldn't count yourself out yet as Hilton could have a big game.

Maybe but the way Indy's been playing, I am not expecting it against the Panthers.

So while I was toiling away in the basement, I had a Blair Witch Project moment. From that point on, everything's coming up Millhouse. Now 3-5 and trending up. Still not a very good team, but things aren't as bleak as they were three weeks ago. Strange game this fantasy football.

Three way tie at the top!

Survived this week, so just below the leaders so far. Need to keep this going to avoid falling back into the playoff bubble.

    Long way to go...

    Week 9 Victory!
Actually - in my history of fantasy football, this was my sweetest strategy that I've ever had pan out.

Back in Week 6, I'm realizing "Shit, I got serious RB problems."
Randle (DAL) was coming off his fumble-game.
Morris (WAS) had been sucking for weeks.
I've got Gurley (RB1)... but the RB2 is an enormous problem.
Myself and the Astapor Unsullied (my recent Week 9 opponent) were in talks of a Demaryius-for-Forsett deal, that would give me my 2nd RB.

I'm looking at his roster: Forsett, Week 9 bye.
Well, that ain't gonna help if I'm playing him... I'd rather Forsett still be on his team.
I also notice that he has Lynch on Week 9 bye.
That's gonna force him to go with Dion Lewis & Danny Woodhead as his Week 9 RB combo.

With Woodhead being stealthy of late, I decide to offer up Demaryius for Woodhead/J.Matthews.
On the surface, probably looked like I lost that deal... but it was all a target for Week 9.
All he had at RB going into Week #9 was Dion Lewis. I even tried my best to strip best options (like McCluster) off the wire - and eventually he settled on Alfred Morris (insert evil-laugh) as his choice for RB2.

Here's the list of all things that went right for me to win Week 9 by a score of 116.86 to 103.88 (+13pt win differential).
    1. I saved my Waiver Wire #1 priority for FIVE weeks. Bell(PIT) goes down, I finally use it on DeAngelo. DeAngelo Williams had 35pts, if I don't save that waiver claim... I lose.
    2. Acquiring Woodhead. I didn't even play Woodhead (17.1pts), but it stripped him from the Unsullied for Week 9. Instead he grabbed A.Morris (1pt) from the wire. If he still has Woodhead... I lose.
    3. Giving up Demaryius. Demaryius had just (5pts). If the Unsullied doesn't have Demaryius, he's probably starting Jordan Matthews (19.3pts). If he still owns J.Matthews... I lose.

In total, sort of the weirdest trade/planning ever.
I traded for TWO players that I benched... saved my waiver claim... all to decimate one-specific opponent... and got the win!

    7-2! (Tied for 1st-3rd)
Hopefully that's enough for top six in a 12-team league.
    Playoffs here I come!!!

Well. I scored 128 without any carefully concocted plan.

But. Only 5-5, even though the 3rd highest scoring team this season.

Seems as though the Badonkagronks can never translate points into wins.

I made a last minute decision to move Ivory to the bench and put Martin in. Ivory just below Yahoo's projection and no TDs so ok with that, as long as Martin performs.

Need a win to keep myself in a good playoff position, but a loss will take me closer to the bubble.

New Record This Week... in Futility (seriously):

In the 5th year of the league, we have a new weekly LOW:
    TD's N Beer (Axeman33), threw out this stellar line-up.
    -2.6pts QB1: Peyton Manning (DEN)
    2.30pts WR1: Alson Jeffery (CHI)
    5.10pts WR2: Rueben Randle (NYG)
    0.00pts WR3: Dorial Green-Beckham (TEN)
    0.00pts RB1: Eddie Lacy (GB)

    5.10pts RB2: Rashard Jennings (NYG)
    1.80pts TE1: Martellus Bennett (CHI)

    9.00pts K: Dan Bailey (DAL)
    1.00pts D: Denver

    Total player points: 11.70pts
    Total team points: 21.70pts
[and a nice gift to the league's 1st place team, Brady's Bunch, who will earn a victory to go to 8-2 with a league 2nd lowest total of 66.06... how... evil...]

Both... are single week league LOWs! Oh dear.
TeddyB and A.Ellington (both on BN) outscored his team.
Heck, Devonta Freeman (on BYE) usually outscores his team.

On the bright side, he's still 5-5... which, in this league, is 6th place - and still in a playoff spot!
    LOL.
