No doubt....I would take Nichushkin easy in this comparison.
Who do you take in a keeper-points only in between skinner and nichushkin. I tend to say nichushkin easily, but It may be closer than I think. What do you guys think about it?

Nich, for sure. If health weren't an issue it might be closer, but it is, so it's an even easier decision.
If Skinner can bounce back from last years dismal season and avoid injury this year I might side with Skinner. Until that happens though I'll vote Nich
Yep you confirmed my point of view. OK thank you guys.

I like Nich too. I do feel like there may be some injury concerns with him going forward but we'll see. Just a hunch. Skinner is really struggling to put it all together and stay healthy. I think this is his make or break season. Maybe a trade would help him?

Nichuskin for me.
Gotta go with Nich's upside here.
do positions matter here? what does your line up look like in terms of strengths and weaknesses? try and set up a signature for your team and league -> easier for us to see the whole picture. This year I think 46-52 is realistic from each. Long term, yes take the dallas winger.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Skinner is just too scary to own due to concussion history however his gp's over the past few seasons seem to indicate he's healthy again.
I agree with the majority and would lean towards Nich although both players could easily be in same point range for awhile .
For me, Skinner has already proven he can produce excellent G totals in this league without much of supporting cast. Could Skinner's apple-totals take a jump with better line mates? I think so. And Nichu just doesn't have the track record yet (for me) to assume he'll consistently out-point Skinner. I FULLY understand the allure of Nichushkin though, both his upside and situation look fantastic, but personally I like Skinner to out-produce Nichu for the next few years.
Concussion history doesn't bother me too much since for every Savard there's a Bergeron or Crosby.
The ONLY factor not involved in the above decision though is how your fellow GMs see things. If they're all much hotter on Nichushkin than Skinner, well then I'd consider keeping the more valuable asset (for your league) and ideally re-draft Skinner.
I won't be keeping Skinner in my limited keeper but he's absolutely one of my value targets to (re)draft this year.

While I am not as sold on Nichuskin as many others are, I still prefer him to Skinner. Neither have really proven the ability to stay healthy but I like Nichushkins situation in Dallas more than Skinners in Carolina.
