Hard to say how this year will play out. Last year they were running 4 FWDs and Severson on PP1 at the end of the season.

#1 PP unit will probably be Gelinas and Severson..

My money is on severson. Although larson could be there to. I'm not a fan of gelinas.
None would be a lock and none would be that great of an option either imo.

I wouldn't count on Larsson playing PP1. In his last 10 games he played 1:01, 0:07, 0:04, 0:04, 0:03 with 5 games of 0:00. The one thing I did notice with Larsson, in his last 43 games when he routinely played 20+ minutes a game he had 20 points which comes out to 38 over an 82 game season. I believe I counted from when he played 26:00 in a January game, after that he had one sub 20:00 game.

So if he does play PP1 then I would say he's a lock for 40, he just doesn't shoot a lot.

I will guess the mix (again the fantasy guide is the best for this) as I watch faar too many games for my team:

PP1 - Severson - Gelinas/Larsson - Camm (Who could also play the point so this may be Henrique) - Elias - Zajac

PP2 - Merrill - Gelinas/Larsson/Moore - Henrique - Palmieri - Zacha(if signed)/Matteau/Boucher (one could replace Henrique if he is on PP1)

So I guess there are a bunch... But I have a hunch Larsson and Greene will play much more EV/PK time than PP

Hmm im gonna say Gomez, with Ray Shero and one lucky fan. On the back end Im gonna say Rafalski comes out of retirement- paired with the ghost of Kovalchuk.

New GM. New coach. New captain (you would think). New D coach. New. New. New. I don't see how much you can put into a sample of last year's numbers. Black is white. White is black. This is going to be a hard team to project this season. Anyone that tells you they know what exactly is going to happen better be named John Hynes or Ray Shero.

I think Severson is a lock to be the main PP D anchor - the rest is up in the air.

In 5vs4 pts per 60 Severson was ranked just behind Karlsson and ahead of subban, Hedman, etc

I think he's pretty much a lock as the ppqb and could surprise.. The part of that article about SOG was pretty encouraging as well.

When it comes to NJ I thought PP stood for Piss Poor. Based off that I might have been confused for a bit why anyone would ask about NJ.

When it comes to the Devils power play though I think Larsson gets a solid look yet Severson will probably be the main man in the near future IMO.
