Antropov to comeback in NHL?
Nik Antropov is considering staging an NHL comeback.
Antropov has spent the last two campaigns in the KHL. He had 21 points and 64 penalty minutes in 39 games with Astana Barys in 2014-15. At the age of 35, we wouldn't count on him having any fantasy value in standard leagues if he plays in the NHL.

No chance he does IMO. Too much young talent and too many veterans retiring early because they are not able to get ice time.

Bingo. Younger players are well prepared for the NHL these days so when it comes to older players only the top tier talents are managing to stick around and Antropov didn't even have the goods to do that in his early 30's.

In fairness, I am younger than Antropov. Some say I still have a couple years left in my prime.
I don't fault you for ranking me but I really hope it's a league with a lot of bench spots. Just saying.

I thought that players were supposed to leave the NHL for the KHL when they're washed up, not the other way around.
