Hmmm...my first instinct is to say Brassard and Neal. Both will score some, and earn you points in the peripheral categories as well.

Neal for sure, I side with Marleau for another year or two.

I agree with consensus, Neal is the top guy there.
After that, for me it would be:
    Marleau
    Vanek
    Brassard
    Ribeiro
    Perron
    Pomminville

Perhaps you could post your other keepers as well just to make sure there isn't anyone in the forward group worth keeping over someone else that wasn't mentioned.

I've got Neal and Brassard as my 1-2.

    Then I'd go Ribeiro,Pominville,Vanek,Perron.

I would say Neal for sure.

Then Brassard IF you are in rebuild mode.
Or Marleau if you are making a run at a championship.

I agree that Neal and Brass are likely the best two options... but damn if I'm not intrigued with Perron here with Neal.

To me, Perron is a guy who can be easily redrafted. Guys are really down on him, but he's basically a lock to play with Crosby for as long as the two are healthy. I don't really see much downside here aside from injury. He's going to have to make his living mostly at 5v5, but the Penguins are going to be a very lethal 5v5 team -- and let's not forget some added 3-on-3 goals for DP, too.

Neal and Brassard for me as well. As good as Marleau can be next year, Brassard should match that. He also flies under the radar when looking for hits but he can give you 100+ on a given year.

I'm done with James Neal... not sure how so many of you like him still... 37pts in 67gp, ugh. Only 4 PPP.

    If positions don't matter.
    *Brassard (100+ hits)
    *Ribeiro

But if you really have only 3C you can play, then positions SHOULD matter as you've got two Cs already kept.

Marleau/Vanek/Neal are all very close as "declining" wingers.
My most faith lies with Marleau, because he still has a dynamic PP1 to be part of with Pavelski, Couture, Joe, and Burns.

PPP is a nice thing to have in the bank.
Marleau had 24 PPP last year.
James Neal had 4 PPP last year.

Thanks to all for your input, good stuff. It seems that Brassard and Neal are the consensus favorites with Marleau still garnering support that cannot be ignored. It was a tough question for sure! So, lets look at Neal, Brassard and Marleau and factor in the rest of my team to make for, I hope, another interesting discussion. You have the league structure and scoring stats already, here is the rest of the team that I'm considering moving forward with, I have not included the drops in the original post, trust me, they are toast, not a consideration. We are looking at, in total, 12 protected players (F, D and G) and 2 protected Rookies

    Definite F Keepers:

    Centers: Crosby, Spezza
    RW: Wheeler, Stamkos
LW: Ladd, Anders Lee (a rookie protection)

In consideration: Marleau, Brassard and Neal
Outside looking in: Pommer, Ribeiro, Vanek and Perron

    Definite D Keepers:

Vatanen, Josi, Barrie and Klingberg (a rookie protection)
    In consideration: TJ Brodie

    Definite G Keepers:

    Hotlby, Rask

What to do? I am thinking I have one or two very nice D to move, and I have an elite G to possibly move. Or, I stand pat, define my keeps, and move spare pieces for draft picks and go from there. Lots of options. Wade in here folks, want to hear your thoughts!
