is there any issue with starting the draft now with no one OTC? i mean the 1st round should be pretty straightforward, and we're already on a tight schedule, i'd be suprised if we can get a round a day done.

I'm in the middle of a slow draft right now...larger league (30 teams, 35 player rosters). We started the draft roughly two months ago and it is not done yet.

yea i'm feeling a bit worried, good chance we are still drafting mid-late september.

if the amount of logons made by each GM so far is a decent representation of their available, there will likely be some delays. i think we should seriously consider starting as soon as possible. no OTC, no pressure to make picks, but even if we can get round 1 done before Aug 1 that will help us a lot. would also give us an estimation on how long each round will take.

I'm a big Mike Richards fan so I'm crossing my fingers that he slips to me at #6.
I'll understand if you guys draft everybody on my list... I guess I shouldn't have put it out there for everybody to see.
Richards won't get that far... there's usually a line for him.

Best thing about Yashin is that he won't count against your cap.

Yeah why not start now, and don't enforce the 6 hour window until the original agreed upon start day?

seems like most of us have no issue with starting now, but it's commish decision. i can't think of any reason not to start.

i mean if someone really doesnt want to draft until Aug 1 then they can just not make their selection until then, i'd have no problem with that.

clearly we should be able to get a bunch of picks done before Aug 1 so i really think we should start now. better to finish early than be drafting after the season starts.

commish, give us the green light so we can start this epic draft!!!
