Gagner is only 25 and already at -105. I bet he could get to -260 if he plays his cards right (read: wrong).

Curious who the worst active player is today...
    Vincent Lecavalier at -140?

    Wow.
I had no idea Vinny was that far down.

    Looking at his seasonal +/-...
He's got a +23.... second best is a +2.... he's got a couple 0 season... and the other TWELVE seasons are minuses.
    Yeesh.

Flyers did not put Gagner on waivers today. Apparently still mulling over whether or not to buy him.

Hexy hinted he would buy out Gagner the other day, but I'm getting feeling tide has changed. $3.3M not bad price for motivated F on 1yr deal

I think PHI will buy him out.
I believe they would gain about $2.7m in cap space without him... I don't see what he brings... PHI doesn't need another light winger and Sam's not an NHL C1 or C2.

Honestly, I will be surprised if they dont as well.

Between Hodgson and Gagner there are options for teams looking for centers on the cheap... Hopefully this drives down the contracts for my as yet unsigned UHL roster players.

I actually think what we've seen in recent years is that Hodgson and Gagner aren't cut out to be centers.
Neither could cut it with all the opportunity in the world in BUF & ARI, respectively.

Both guys are 3rd line wingers... (just like Vinny Lecavalier these days).
They'll have to take $1m-$2m per season to slot in there.

Gagner will still find an NHL job.
Hodgson may have to go play in Sveetzerlund.
