Sergei Kostitsyn is reportedly close to signing with an NHL club.
Take this with a grain of salt, especially seeing as we still don't know what team Kostitsyn might join. He had seven goals and 27 points in 49 KHL games in 2014-15. From a fantasy perspective, we would certainly recommend keeping an eye on him if he heads back to North America, but we have our doubts about him being a worthwhile addition to a standard league team. That being said, what team he ultimately signs with, if he does indeed head to the NHL, will be a significant factor.

In a second line support, heavy o-start with PP time role? Probably. He's got skill, just is pretty terrible defensively. If you could fit him on a second line where you had solid support on the D-side from the first and third lines (Dallas? Chicago?) he could probably contribute.

6th on his team in scoring this season. Can't imagine him having much of an impact when/if he comes back to the NHL.
