Someone all yr has wanted Stanton from me. It’s his favourite player and I was naïve enough to decline a solid offer for him earlier in the yr. Now I’ve come into the talks level headed. My team is:
Batters:
C: McCann (C, 1B), 1B: Trumbo (1B,OF), 2B: Altuve (2B), 3B: Donaldson (3B), SS: Brandon Crawford (SS), IF: Gordon (2B), OF (5): Stanton (OF), Brantley (OF), Braun (OF), Pederson (OF), Polanco (OF), UTIL: Gallo (3B).
Pitchers:
SP(3): Hamels, Gray, Arrieta
RP(2) Rondon, K-Rod
P(4): Papelbon (RP), Tolleson (RP), Allen (RP), Salazar (SP)
BN: Wood (SP,RP), C.Martinez (SP,RP)
DL: Moore (SP), Cain (SP)
Just through some quick texts he asked what I wanted and I said a 3for2 or 2for1 with 1B, and SP. He said he “Rizzo, Harvey but that’s a lot don’t you think?” then came back and offered “ Rizzo, Hamilton, and a pitcher for Stanton”. I was really hoping for a 2 leaving, 1 coming back thing so I can get Moore in the lineup later on.

Goldy and JoFer is who I would target off that list.
If you want two out and one in... I'd through in one of your RP and see if that gets it done for Goldy.

Rizzo and Goldschmidt are almost equal for me in a keeper so if he wants to sweeten the deal with Rizzo ++ I'd let him.
Aim for Rizzo and Jose Fernandez and you'll be laughing

Truthfully, The Rizzo Harvey offer is a very solid offer for Stanton, but you already have two of the top SP in Gray and Hamels; although, in a Keeper league at the end of this year, with only 7 keepers, I'd be keeping the two 25 year old SP in Harvey and Gray vs Hamels especially if Hamels gets traded to the AL when Philly finally pulls the trigger.

Ill take the Stanton side..
Yes, the 2-1 turned out to be a more even deal for the Stanton owner. Good trade for you if you're in contention as you get the more stable pitching

Basically Stanton for Rizzo and Harvey - I like it.

Well obviously Stanton heard the news and went on a tear since the trade. But I bolstered my 1B position, and added a fair bit of arms. While I saw my HR lead shrink, my ERA, QS, and W have increased. Would I do it again? Maybe get someone else instead of Hamilton but no issue with this trade for me.
Thanks for the input
