I'd hate to have to give up on Drouin but if forced in choosing between the two I'd go Eichel. Just a feeling that his game will translate better/quicker in the NHL.
In a points-only limited keeper (6) 10 team league who do you think will be the best player ?
I currently own Drouin and I'm not sure to protect him, you can see my team in my sig. My final keeper is between Nash, Sedin and Drouin. I will try to make a deal this summer but as for now it doesn't work.
I have the 10th pick in our draft. I talked with the other GM and I'm pretty sure that Eichel might be avalaible. If it's the case it will be hard to pass over. I might also not protect Drouin and take him with my 1st pick if he's not taken before. But there I will also need D-Men and Goalies.
Both of them should get 50 points next year, but after that who has the best potentiel to be elite ?
Thanks

I don't know what kind of talks you had with the owner of 2nd pick, but if you could trade your pick (10th) + Drouin for his, you get to keep Nash or Sedin and draft Eichel.
Keeper league (12 teams) - keep 6 (+ NHL team is auto keep)

Points only:
Forwards & Dmen: goal (1), assist (1)
Goalies: win (2), otl/sol (1), shutout (2)
Team: win (2), otl/sol (1)
Only 2 FA pickups for the season (remaining: 0)
[T] Edmonton
[F] Panarin, Pettersson, Bedard
[D] Heiskanen, Theodore, Dobson
[G]
I own Drouin, and in a points only, I am not sure I would trade him for Eichel based on skill alone. Based on opportunity, though, I may consider it. When I think of Drouin in TB, I think of Seguin in Boston; buried on 3rd and 4th lines, limited pp, limited ice time...
13 team Keeper, top 8F, 4D and 2G count. 1pt G/A, 2pt W/SO.
Protect up to 500 points in a full season
(K) denotes keeper
Keepers:
F: Draisaitl, Thompson, Thomas, Zuccarello, Konecny, Marchessault Ehlers, O'Reilly, Tarasenko, Perron, Coronato, Seguin, Atkinson, Rossi, Michkov
D: Q Fox, Sergachev, Dobson, York, Hutson
G: Vasilevsky, Jarry, Levi
Eichel will be the star in Buffalo; Tampa Bay's picture is much more murkier. I would do it, Eichel has the chance to become a superstar with higher upside than Drouin and definitely more ice time. If forced to choose, I'd take Eichel.
You have a good set of keepers, and I think keeping D.Sedin will give you the best chance at a repeat.
If you really want one of the one guys, then draft one with your 10th.
But other than that, draft to win if you can.
