I will now perform an incredible feat of prognostication:
In Callahan's absence, young Jonathan Drouin steps in and sets up all three of Stamkos' goals in game 6 vs. Montreal as the Lightning win 3-2.
Quote it.

I'm a Leafs fan...I'm perpetually negative repped! LOL. I can't believe the Bolts won't come out flying in tomorrow's game at home knowing if they lose they go back to Montreal for a game 7. They have looked terrible since game 2 of this series and have to have one more real good game up their sleeves, don't they? If not credit to the Habs, but I think the real TB Lightning show up for game 6.

He has 3 points in 12 playoff games this year. I don't see this as being much of a big deal.

It will be interesting to see how this will affect the team. It could be a boost for them, but as a Habs fan, I hope that it leaves a big hole in their lineup.
cally does so much more than getting points. he'll be missed by t-bay.

The lack of playoff production is not surprising. He's usually worn out by this time of the year.

Callahan is overrated for these "intangibles" that he supposedly brings. He was pretty much invisible in the playoffs last year, and the same this year. I don't remember any of his hits, blocked shots, strong defensive play, etc. He's fourth on the team in power play time on the ice this playoffs, yet has no power play points. He only averages 10 seconds shorthanded ice time a game. He does have 42 hits, but I don't remember a single one of them.
Whatever it is that he brings to the table, I just don't see it.

I’d say they will miss him, and unless the guy who replaces him on his line forechecks like he does, the MTRL D will have fun behind their own goal line for once in the playoffs. He has been a bit snake-bitten in these playoffs, with a couple of shots from the slot going wide or Price being on point.
I bet the miss him, but again, won’t REALLY be scene.

Stamkos' line needed a shakeup. Killorn and Callahan play a similar style - neither are playmakers for Stammer.
I hope Drouin gets a chance at a better role, deserving or not.
