I\'ve been on agreement with what Dobber said in his guide in terms of where he stands. A week or so ago I posted info on his and Briere\'s icetime for the last 20 or so games they played together in the regular season and Carter played more in 18 of those games. The one thing I disagree with most about Carter is his future upside.

For this year, I see him getting 34-29-63 in 82 games. For the future, he will be a 70-75 point guy with an occasional 80 point season. I don\'t think he\'ll ever hit 40-45 assists making it tough for him to get to 80 year in and year out.

Just did an analysis on Carter so I\'ll just list his stats Here (34-29-63 in 82 games).

O\'Sullivan I see getting 30-39-69 in 81 games. I like him a lot and think he\'ll pop for maybe 75-80 next year depending on his progression this year.

Just talked about O\'Sullivan and I think he\'ll get 30-39-69 in 81 games.

For Mueller, I see 32-36-68 in 80 games. He could be at 65 also or even at 75 for this year depending on the chemistry of the line with Jokinen.

I like Zherdev\'s situation in New York. 31-38-69 for him in 79 games. He\'s a playmaker but if he plays with Gomez, he\'ll probably be asked to shoot a little more.

So much for the 1-2 guys for predictions haha.

Richards: 31-48-79 in 75 games.

Jokinen: 36-57-93 in 82 games. I\'m very high on him for this season and think he\'ll get back to his 06-07 numbers with Florida.

Gonchar: 14-52-66 in 77 games.

Backstrom: If you\'ve followed my posts on the forums, you\'d know I have a hard on for him. 19-68-87 in 82 games. He had 60 in 61 under Boudreau and I think that\'s the numbers to go by. He did it over a long stretch of the season (not 20 games) so it\'s realistic for him to have a slight increase in PPG in terms of those numbers.

D.Sedin: 34-46-80 in 82 games.

Kinda hard to believe you would have a singular player holding down #18 alone but I suppose it could happen - I think it could be Briere, but there are really so many possibilities at that number.

Well, 3 players are tied for #17. So the guy with the most goals get #17 followed by the 2nd most and 3rd most.

People have said #17 and #19 but no #18 yet. Briere is close but he\'s not #18.

I have Carle for 9-31-40 in 80 games and Hutchinson for 8-24-32 in 72 games.

Hutchinson had a good year in the AHL but not sure if he even makes the team. If he plays the 72 games, that\'s how many I see him getting.

I like Carle for a bounce back season on the #1 unit with Stamkos at the point.

Actually though, the #18 guy has been mentioned in the post but hasn\'t been anyone\'s guess yet. So there\'s a clue.
