I know Hitchcock is considered a great coach...but who will hire him? There's a ton of high quality candidates out there this summer, I wonder if he might be sitting around waiting for a while (or a few years).

Next to Babcock I would take Hitchcock for sure. I thought this might be a popular opinion too. But after you saying this I'm not sure. I just remember when he went to Blues and after a brief period of time everyone was heralding him as the best coach on the planet.

Why would the Blues hire McLellan?? Wouldn't they be firing Hitchcock for the exact same reason San Jose wanted a change??

What's Babcock's motivation to go to Toronto? I don't see it, not with their current management hierarchy and power structure. I get Shanny is "The Guy" but ultimately there's a board of directors to answer to, and I just don't see Babcock liking that set-up. Just a gut call on my part.
...and no Mcdavid? I dunno.
