1) Principle point of contact
2) Target

Karlsson first made contact with the shoulder (principle point of contact) while targeting the shoulder. The fact that Beaulieu's momentum accompanied with the fact he had his head down carried his head into Karlsson's shoulder doesn't make it a head hit. Textbook clean bodycheck.

The sweaters brushed at the shoulder, the strong majority of the force was clearly shoulder to head.

If you think that's an illegal hit, you're a Habs fan. Simple as that.

Can you even count to one? There is a clock included with the video to help you. I admit it isn't the best video comparison, my point is that Karlsson was very close to injuring Beaulieu in my opinion, right or wrong.

Anyway, I give up. There is no consistency when it comes to these hit to the head rulings.
