Have you seen the check of Karlsson on Beaulieu ? Check on the head... skates leave the ice... Do you think he will be suspended for that ? I think he should, but he won't. Well, I'm a Habs fan so you can tell I'm not objective !!!

Much better angle. Definitely was contact with the head but its still not a dirty hit. The head was not the target of that hit. Have seen this type of hit 1000s of times go unsuspended and not even get called a penalty on the ice.

I dunno man, I think the only argument I can see if that he was in a bit of a vulnerable position, at least based on the way the NHL has been making rulings in recent years.
But honestly other than that I think it's just a good clean hit. As AW said if he left his feet it looked more like post-contact to me.
