It's always hard to answer these questions when comparing a young player already in the NHL vs someone who's still in Jr as we can see what one is doing and we can only assume what the other is capable of.
Both project to be excellent defensemen with high upside. My personal preference long term is Nurse, but I am an Oilers fan so I have followed Nurse more and like what I see.

Ristolainen. He appears to be arriving now and is likely the first pairing dman on that team.
Nurse also has the potential to be a stud but who knows when or if he ever gets there. There is a strong possibility he becomes more of a shut down guy.

Neither is a head-and-shoulders choice above the other IMO. But I own Ristolainen and wouldn't trade him for Nurse - so I guess TTFWIW

Big fan of both guys but like Fung, I own Risto and wouldn't deal him straight up for Nurse (just my personal preference - they're quite close imo).
However, in a salary-cap league, I'm speculating that Nurse will be the better long-term own since I don't see him usurping PP1 time in EDM and thereby inflating his salary whereas I think there's a legit chance Risto runs the PP and gets paid a little better.
So my call is even - but the edge goes to Nurse long-term simply due your league having a salary cap.

Yikes. Is it a keeper? If so, Gio will outproduce both (probably combined) for another 2 years. So I wouldn't worry too much. Ristolainen has a little Hedman in him. Unfortunately, he has a little Larsson in him too. I think he ends up a hybrid who averages 40-45 but with 15+ goals. Kinda like a Finnish version of Brent Seabrook.

This is close.
I'm a big RR fan. I see him as OEL v2.0. I think he's the man in BUF.
Nurse comes into a situation where he COULD play with McDavid, Hall, Ebs, RNH, etc. on the PP. I like his style and patience.
This is a toss up, in which case I would go with the more proven/sure choice in RR.
