Schedule conflicts for players/teams

Does anyone have a program for looking at schedule conflicts? For example, if you have 3 centers and can only play 2 at a time, does anyone know of a resource that says if say, LA and Detroit play on different nights the majority of the team instead of doubling up.

Interesting assignment.

Here are some of the highlights:

If you own Penguins and Ducks they only play 28 times on the same night.

On the other end if you own Coyotes and Canadiens OR Penguins and Flyers they play 57 times on the same night.

The Ducks are by far the best team if you want to avoid conflicts with other teams. Apart from the above mentioned Penguins, they only play 30 games on the same nights as Leafs, Lightening and Predators. When comparing the Ducks schedule to 29 other teams they play on average only 36.2 times on the same night. No other team has an average less then 41 and the average is 45.2.

The Coyotes average 50 games on the same night as the 29 other teams which is the highest but not by much.

Let me know if you have any specific questions between teams and I will try to answer.

Thanks for the general stats there reeveta! Karma for your hard work and a request: What does the Capitals schedule look like? I\'ve got one keeper team built around them and I\'m wondering if I\'m going to be having to make a lot of choices on who I\'m going to sit on any given night.

This is one good reason I try to have at least a few players on my squads from the Western Conference in leagues with unlimited starts.
It\'s always nice to get in a few games on off nights and Sunday has been a great day for the Oil, Sharks, and Ducks over the years.

If you look at the overall schedule you can actually apply it to your draft strategy.

I calculated the amount of games each team plays on each day. It\'s a bit messy, but the days go from Monday to Sunday. ANA, BUF, CHI, COL, NJ, NYR, DET are teams that have the most games on \"off days\".
