    Default Kyle Baun

Per Elliotte Friedman and others on Twitter, he's signed with Chicago on a 2 year entry level deal. He's grandson of Toronto Maple Leafs Bobby Baun. 14 goals and 15 assists in 38 games at Colgate this season, pretty big dude at 6'4", 202 pounds. I read somewhere that he'll likely play this year to burn a year off his entry level deal.

Another big body for the Blackhawks. May be worth keeping an eye on for keep keeper leagues.

I can't see him being higher on the prospect chart than Blackhawks youngsters like Teravainen or Hartman, but his size is certainly appealing. That and his pretty famous name; especially to fans of the Leafs.

Changes are coming this summer in Chicago so that helps Baun's outlook a bit.

    Apparently big ones!!

It's no secret of course but all of the Hawks prospects will get a bump up after this season.

Last time they went into a summer of changes a big body by the name of Bryan Bickell stepped in and put up 37 points as a rookie. He's been mostly a fantasy dud but it goes to show that opportunities can help poolies, even if it's mostly short-term help.

Just something to keep in mind here...
