Can any1 top this for crappy injury luck?

A lot of leagues these days have IRs and the ability to pick up players on waivers. My league doesn't have that. So 6 of my 13 are officially not playing due to injuries, the 7th (my best, sequin, is playing hurt), and there are no options. So I think only those with around 50% of your roster disabled qualify for this illustrious status as the most snake-bitten.

In the first week of playoffs, I am watching Taylor Hall and Sami Vatanen sit on my IR (although Vatanen is close to returning) and I am looking at Palat (close to returning), Little, Byfuglien, Neal, Bogosian and now Petry with red flags beside their names.

Terrible time to have a rash of injuries like this.

I drafted hanzal, gudas, erik johnson pkane (traded),bob....so to replace ej i picked up scandella and then had to pick up spurgeon only to have those two go back and forth off the ir....picked up perrealt he got hot now hes injured too, ive had 4-5 guys on ir all season long

In all my years in fantasy sports i have never publicly complained about injuries, hate it when people whine and use that as an excuse.

But with an active roster of 5 fw, two d and a full roster of 13-15 players in our league I have suffered:
Five major injuries ranging 4-6 week to season-ending, including my two superstars: Seguin, Hall, MacKinnon, Franzen, Nichushkin
Hornqvist was injured again tonight, this'll be his third time this year.
Letang (I know, comes with the territory) out twice.
Neal down, apparently it's been a nagging injury
I drafted Gaborik, remember he missed a chunk of first month and mostly sucked? I later traded him for the aforementioned young and healthy McKinnon to reduce my injury vulnerability.

I think the only good player on my team who's been healthy is Karlsson (Kopitar very recent pickup). Not sure how I'm within 10 points of first but feel like throwing in the towel. Crap!!!

Meanwhile, the guy who's going to win has had no injuries to any of his starters, not even day-to-days. What are the freaking odds of that???

Perry (x2) Mumps and Physical injury - essentially long term
Getz - a few games of "under the weather)
Hall (x2) Long Term
Kunitz For a significant stint
Palat - (x2) and still awaiting his return
Vrbata - for a hand full of games

Defence:
Ehrhoff (Mutiple incidents... on top of sucking when he does play)

and best of all... Goalies
Crawford
Elliott
Bob
(That's all 3 of my top goalies all for significant injury time).

I feel your pain (and somehow continue to grip 2nd place in my league)

gudas - out for season
ej - out for the last 8 weeks
kane - out for fantasy season
perreault - out for last 5 weeks??

im not even counting dtd games missed

When I started this thread last week i was wondering if i would finally have a healthy lineup and sure enuf today Horny comes back -- and then Letang goes down with what is almost certainly a season-ender.
