The person who works for the Eagles that is filing the trade with the NFL called into Philly radio. Said they couldn't give "all the details" but confirmed the 10 for 20 swap. Also verified by Howard Eskin (Philly Media) who is never wrong with this stuff. If Eskin says it, it's 100%.

Funny you say that.
Ian Rapoport (just now on NFL Net) said something that caught me off guard. He said the Eagles get picks back IF Bradford isn't their starter at the beginning of the season. He then said discussions of a possible deal have been in the works for some time now...perhaps weeks? Dunno...it was very quick comment by Raps before he got into the meat-and-taters of the deal.
Point being...if true, it doesn't sound like the Eagles are flipping him.

Why would the Rams do that?! I am not a Foles fan at all...not as a starting 1A NFL QB anyway. He won't last on the Rams.

he's an upgrade on Bradford who doesn't throw deep balls, and a lot cheaper. He's a massive upgrade on what they had last year as well, and they weren't a bad team. Sam wouldn't restructure his deal so they had to trade him before he got guaranteed money for this season

He's so very reliant on footwork to get the ball deep. just doesn't have the natural arm strength. rush him around the pocket a little and he gets into trouble. Happened in Philly and it'll happen in StL.

He was fine in Philly, started off very well but gave the ball away a lot. He'll be way better in a different offense than that whack-job quickfire offense the Eagles have. He also won't have to throw as much.
saving cap space and not having to play Austin Davis or Shawn Hill is a win
