Offered O\'Sullivan for pick

I am being offered O\'Sully and the best picks available are.

C: Nylander, Umberger
LW: Tkachuk, Samsonov
RW: Stafford, Stempniak
D: MA Bergeron, Paul Ranger
G: Garon

He really wants Nylander. I was thinking of just taking Garon with this pick because of his high potential value (I usually draft many goalies and then make big time trades with them). For me since it\'s O\'Sully, it feels like a no-brainer, but Dobber ranks Nylander surprisingly high.

For those who followed my other thread, I ended up taking Marleau in the 2nd round, traded my other 2nd for a first next year, drafted Bernier with my 3rd and Souray with my 4th.

Nothing out of left field from me:

Goalsullivan by a fair margin. Hes just coming into his prime, and shows every indication of maintaining a high level of performance for many years to come.

I see nothing wrong with making that trade. You just made determining next years keepers a little more difficult with OSully in the fold!!

Take O\'Sullivan. I\'d do it for Nylander. Nylander may play second line Was this year (i dunno if he plays the wing) since Backstrom and AO had great chemistry. O\'sullivan should be playing with Kopitar.

But check where Nylander will fit first.

Nobody worth more than o\'boy on that list as far as I\'m concerned - yeah Nylander will have a decent year but the clock is ticking - Garon still has to deal with Roloson.

This is probably as close to a no-brainer as I have seen for a while - what is this other guy thinking?

Nylander plays C, he\'s really a hell of a playmaker and I suspect he gets some credit in Dobber\'s rankings just for being in that potent Caps lineup. If I remember correctly, he was playing through a really bad shoulder for awhile last season before deciding he needed surgery, so those numbers probably don\'t reflect what he could/will do. When playing with talent, he can put up really good numbers.

He\'ll also play either 1st/2nd line and thus be dishing to either AO or Semin. I know they\'ve got Kozlov too, but Nylander is the guy to whom they committed 4-5 yrs/$5M per or whatever; I\'m too lazy to check right now.

Not that I\'m trying to sell you on him over O\'Sullivan, but I think Nylander is one of the most forgotten players in the league right now because of the progress the team made in his absence.
