He stepped on a freaking sprinkler head and tore his meniscus. Wtf. Can’t even blame this one on the turf. For the price he was getting paid he was a good fill in for Melky. Navarro for an OF better get done soon. What’s with the Jays getting pre-season major injuries? Who was it last yr that blew his knee out because he fell down the stairs in the dugout? You seriously don’t hear this “freak” injury stuff on other teams.

Hurray! We get good news about an injury!Michael Saunders should be ready to rejoin the Toronto Blue Jays by mid-April rather than around the all-star break after the left-fielder had 60 percent of the meniscus removed from his left knee during surgery Friday.
