Monahan.
For the league in my signature who would you rather have long term?

Monahan...not even close, especially with the peripherals in your league. I think Turris has shown that he tops out at 55-points.
Monahan outperforms him in every category pretty much, and he's just getting started

Hmm... I don't know.
I think it's closer than people think.
Most will say "Monahan is 20years old... he's got room to grow and will get better."
OK - but Monahan logging 19:11min of ice-time right now.
Turris is 25-years old... and I think a big mistake people make is to assume a guy can't "grow" any more after the age of 25.
Turris is logging 19:14min of ice-time right now.
So the ice-time is equal.
And both are getting C1 time/PP1 time.
What's left for their growth is based on maturation and teammate chemistry.
Two of my favourite, favourite players... Joe Pavelski & Alex Steen... both blossomed after the age of 25.
I don't give up on a guy just because of age... not before 30 at least.
Now - to be clear - I'm DEFINITELY not saying Turris has a Pavelski/Steen like hockey sense.
Definitely not.
But he is a solid player who puts up points and SHOOTS.
215 sog in his full season last year.
I like Monahan, but I don't see him doing that volume of shooting.
I think we'll see Monahan defer often to Giordano/Hudler/Gaudreau on the PP.
I think Turris is a more likely targeted weapon with OTT than Monahan.
All that said, I'm going Monahan... but it's closer than people think (I believe).
[I'm probably also afraid of incurring any TickleMonster wrath... so, maybe that's why I'm choosing Monahan after this diatribe!]
Oh - and also Monahan is one good looking fellow... with a really, really fun Twitter account.
[Boring Sean Monahan makes me laugh EVERY TIME.]
That alone can make it fun to own him!
I mean... look at those teeth! That hair! Those big brown eyes.
Even his ears are amazing!
This is the guy they should have cast for 50 Shades of Grey!
Ladies!!!
[btw. He's no Boone Jenner, looks-wise... just to be clear... Boone is still prettier.]
[Can't wait to see the elbow-candy these guys will get... Monahan... Jenner... gonna make Jon Toews girlfriend look like a 4. Just kidding, she's a nice girl.]

I think it's a fair comp but I simply can't ignore the growth curve of Monahan in this valuation. Turris has room for growth also but, all else being equal, I'm gambling on the youngster over the guy in his mid 20's almost every day of the week
Monahan for me

Just wanted to bring this back and see if its still a landslide to monahan. Looking at there stats this year they are pretty even across the board with Monahan scoring more goals and Turris having more assists. Besides that the only big differences are PIMs (Turris by 20) and FOW (Monahan by 190)

Still Monahan.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Another vote for Monohan. Love Turris on my favorite team, but less so in fantasy hockey

Still going Monahan. He seems to have all the tools to be a very very productive player in this league. His chemistry with Gaudreau is beautiful to watch
