I've been looking to trade Hall to get stats now and help me compete to win a championship, so I'm throwing out this offer to bolster my stats. Stats are standard + hits.

I give: Hall, Ryan, Backstrom & Fleury
I get: Ovechkin, Voracek & Rask

Ovechkin & Voracek pretty much upgrade all of my stats and while I feel like I'm downgrading at goalie short-term I feel like Rask can turn it around and hopefully put up similar numbers to MAF down the line. What do you think?

Due to his style of play Hall is a bit of a bandaid boy and I don't trust him. OV and Backstrom are similar point wise but OV will help your PIM's and SOG's so give the edge to OV. Voracek is an upgrade over Ryan and Rask is a better goalie than Fleury. Even if you don't win this year, you are in a good position going forward. I'd make the deal.

I'd use that spot to stream defensemen because I'm behind on games played at defense. It's a roto league, so I'd probably attack PIM's, hits and assists. I didn't have a specific player in mind.

I'm asking because the caliber of dman you will be signing can turn this deal into a total steal. How you fill in the extra roster spot is an important part of the deal.

Which cats are you ahead in? If you can take the hit in goals and assists, then take the deal. If it's close and you'd drop, then stay the course. Value-wise you lose, but it could help you push for a championship for sure.
