Default going for the win just made a lot trades, how'd I do?

G A, PPP, PIM Hits Blocks, +/- SHP GWG
First one was a big one, I mortgaged the future a little bit on this one with trading away one of my best young NHL forwards, Lindholm but in my mind it is worth it getting a consistent 65+ forward that is on a playoff team and producing now.
    I traded away: Mike Riberio + Elias Lindholm + 3rd 2015
    for
I received: Logan Couture + Kyle Clifford

    trade #2
    I traded away: Mike Santorelli
    for
I received: Nick Holden and TJ Brennen
this one was all about losing salary and getting cheap possible NHL defensemen, when the roster gets expanded come playoff time I can see Brennan getting called up to the NHL.

    trade #3
    I traded away: Cody Eakin + Joe Colborne + 3rd 2015
    for
I received: Josh Bailey + Cedric Paquette + Nick Spaling
In my league our playoff's are during the real NHL playoff championship so having players who are on playoff teams is a asset. I also think Paquette has value considering the Hits and Pims in the league.

    trade #4
I traded away: Zach Parise + Ryan Murray
    for
I received: Brent Seabrook + Travis Zajac + Mats Zuccarello

    trade #5
    I traded away: Evader Kane + Benoit Pouliot + 3rd 2016
    for
    I received: David Perron + Richard Rakell + 2nd 2015 + Dale Weise + 2015 - 6th & 7th 2015

    Nice job

Not that big a fan of Trade 4, although Zuccarello is heating up and looks good for ROS.

Your first trade was my favourite. Came out the big winner with Couture there

Trade 1: Really like this trade. You got the best talent for a decent but aging player and an unproven youngster. Lindholm will not be as good as Couture.

Trade 2: Meh nothing to see here. Good salary dump though.

Trade 3: This one is all about the playoffs and potential. All three of the guys you got could be playoff sleepers. Eakin has regressed this year and is not significantly better than any of the players you got.

Trade 4: Upgrade from Murray to Seabrook is much better than the downgrade from Parise to Zuccarello. Zajac is a player I'd avoid in a cap league with playoffs but if you have the cap room its a decent move.

Trade 5: A healthy Perron should be a contributor this year. Kane's value in your league is lower with the move to BUF unless they magically become a playoff team soon.

Overall you improved your team quite a bit for a championship run. Hopefully it works out for you.

My overall roster, OEL is a absolute beast in this format, as well as Vrbata with his PPP, Neal has been a disappointment from what I was expecting and Perron has killed it the past month since arriving in Pittsburgh, 11 Points, 12 Games, 27 Hits, and 20 PIM
James Neal (NSH) / Logan Couture (SJS) / Radim Vrbata (VAN)
Mats Zuccarello (NYR) / David Perron (PIT) / Josh Bailey (NYI)

Travis Zajac (NJD)/ Nick Spaling (PIT) / Cedric Paquette (TBL)

Full keeper salary cap league Goals, Assists, PPG,PPA, SHP, +/-, Pims, Hits, Shots, FOW are the stat catagories.

Lucic or E Kane. Both are the same money and both bring similar stats. Who would you prefer to own?

Commissioner Message: This league has a unique restricted free agency and unrestricted free agency period that allows owners to drastically reshape their team every season. Due to the salary cap, there is not as much trading in this league as in some leagues. With only 10 teams, there are always some top free agents available to help teams. We have a solid core of 7 owners and are looking for 3 more to fill out the league. Both of these teams are in the lottery. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
