Yes, any upgrade in goal like this I like. Cap space is good too. Sucks giving up Tank and Buff, but Perron and Jones are suitable returns
If Buff plays at F for the rest of this year he is quite literally a bust for me if he plays the way he did previously as a forward; the dollar per point production is abyssmal. Perron is a nice win now piece and will be on a much friendly cap hit going forward as I predict Tank gets a big pay day. Lehtonen's play in most if not all games this year can be classified as hot garbage. I also shed close to 6-7 mill in cap hit doing this deal. Is it a nice move?

Yeah I agree with Dobs, I think Lehtonen to Bishop is a good upgrade, Perron/Jones probably replaces Buffy/Tank reasonably well...

Anyone who owns Bishop should be worried about Vasilevsky. The kid wasn't called up so they can sit him 4 games out of 5. Temper your expectations for a massive upgrade as Bishop might not be a lock for more than 50 or so starts per year from here on out. However, I like the deal except for losing Tank. I would be trying to find a way to keep Tank around and still flip Lehtonen for Bishop somehow. It's not like Tank isn't going to be worth the cap hit.
Tarasenko side all day. Don't drink the koolaid.
In cap league, I like Perron, Jones and Bishop

Big Buff will be back on D tonight. I don't like the deal, sure you gain cap but you're giving up by far the two best players.

Tarasenko/Lehtonen/Byfuglien side for me. Tarasenko and Byfuglien are much better skaters than Jones/Perron and this is not even close. Bishop is not a very big upgrade over Lehtonen with your settings. Lehtonen is a work horse (I can't believe I just typed that about Kari Lehtonen) who faces a ton of shots as he leads the league in saves so far this season. Bishop is likely not even the best goalie on his team. Bishop's numbers have been not very good since January of 2014 and there's a reason the Lightning called up Vasilevski. Vasilevski has played in 3 of the past 4 Lightning games and there's about a 50% chance he overtakes Bishop as the team's starter. He's that good and Bishop is that average.
