Pat Kane trade
Was talking with the manager that owned P. Kane for my league below a couple weeks ago and he was saying that hes wanting to rebuild. He's sitting 3rd last in our league and said he offered Kane to one of the other manager for a 1st round pick and it got shot down. Needless to say I was very surprised so I threw an offer his way. Shortly after he emails the league saying everyone is for sale on his team and that he wants picks. I thought there was gonna be a bidding war for sure.
I offered: Pastrnak, Yakupov, 1st and 2nd round picks.
I get: P. Kane and his last 2 picks.
Well he accepted, trade has gone through. My 1st will likely be in the bottom half and this will help me make a big push for this season. Makes my keeper selection tough but I'll deal with that later. Thoughts?

Unless your league is setup differently than I would expect, the first GM who turned down the 1st round pick for PKane is a fool. Even if it's a top two pick he owned, Patty Kane is still worth something like that in my eyes.
Your deal is an excellent buy for you. Funny part is, he's probably happy too.

P.Kane (aka ppg player) for a 1st round pick would have been robbery. Then you swoop in and do a worse deal. Way to go. The GM in my league wants Voracek+picks for P.Kane

Looking at your roster that's a great deal for you. You have a very solid team still have 2 very good young LW and I imagine the only problem with your team is inconsistency in goal. That should work hopefully work itself out when bob comes back. The only pick I would have to think long and hard about giving up for Kane is #1 overall.
