Here's some yes or no questions for ya!

    1) Green gets moved and Carlson becomes the regular PP1 D next year
    2) Voracek becomes a regular threat for ppg (82 points) going forward (in other words, similar point production each year to Kessel)
    3) Pavelski is yet again a top 3 LWer next year in multi-cat fantasy leagues
    4) Holtby is a better own that Crawford going forward
    5) With MSL out of tampa and given how this year has gone, Seguin is now as good of an own as Stamkos going forward

For sure. Stewart only becomes AS valuable as Hanzal if he gets dealt so no point in hanging onto him.

I'd also like to maybe upgrade my D or LW a bit, as the same guy that has Hornqvist also has Chara, E. Johnson, Widemanm, and Vanek (LW). As for what he needs, his Centers and RW are good, but his other positions could use some help (and his goalies are Crawford and Lehtonen)

Do you see any deals that might make sense for me given my roster and the players he has? Keep in mind that Lee and Pastrnak have some extra value in our format since we must start a rookie. This guy needs a rookie, but doesn't recognize the value in either Lee or Pastrnak that I think he should (meaning I think one of them would help move a deal forward as a throw-in, but not a principle piece).
Doesn't sound like there's a good positional fit if you are both strong at RW and C but weak at LW and D. Maybe try selling high on Palat from that LW position?

Vrbata for Hornqvist is a good deal if you can swing it.

No guarantees there. Niskanen scooped the top PP spot when Green was hurt this year.

    2) Voracek becomes a regular threat for ppg (82 points) going forward (in other words, similar point production each year to Kessel)
    I don't see why not.

    3) Pavelski is yet again a top 3 LWer next year in multi-cat fantasy leagues
If (and that's the big question here) he has LW eligibility then he should be treated like a top-three guy at LW.

    4) Holtby is a better own that Crawford going forward
I like Holtby enough that if I could get Holtby+ for Crawford I'd do it. Would swap him straight up though. I don't trust the players in front of Holtby.

    5) With MSL out of tampa and given how this year has gone, Seguin is now as good of an own as Stamkos going forward
    Yes.

Bailey looks hot on Tavares' wing but how many times have we said that only for the lines to get switched. Not dropping either of those guys for Bailey even though it's tempting.

Based on what we've seen, Dubynk. I actually think Kuemper is more talented but I'm not sure the Wild have the best goalie coaching. Certainly Kuemper has lost his confidence right now.

Do you think Ryan Spooner will ever be an NHLer ( whether it's with Bost. or another team ) and is so when?

    Thanks for doing this.

It's the halfway point, time to evaluate. What would you say were this year's biggest triumphs for the guide so far as well as the biggest busts?

I think he's got a shot. What he'll need is either more time to become a well-polished third liner or a team willing to give him a shot now to get that polish at the NHL level. Still a year or two out barring a trade.

Just looking at my specific contribution (guys who should regress):

    Hits

    Jay Bouwmeester
    Jaromir Jagr
    Jussi Jokinen
    Duncan Keith
    David Krejci
    James Neal
    Antti Niemi
    Frans Nielsen
    Matt Niskanen
    Reilly Smith
    Thomas Vanek
    Semyon Varlamov
    Joel Ward
    James Wisniewski

    Misses

    Joe Pavelski
    Martin St. Louis
    Alex Steen
    Ryan Getzlaf
    Ryan Johansen

    Push

Valtteri Filppula - has scored well but trending downward
Tyler Bozak - has regressed from a per-game mark but not from a scoring total.

If you see under everyone's posts the icons on the bottom left. The star allows you to add reputation points to any user for their posts. That reputation score is shown on the top right of their posts. People advertising "REP" in their title are indicating that if you respond to their thread with helpful answers they'll give you reputation points in return.
