In a dynasty league that counts G, A, +/-, PPP, PIM, SOG, and Hits, who would you rather have:

    James Wisniewski
    Alexander Edler
    Jake Muzzin
    Jack Johnson
    Trevor Daley
    Kris Russell

    Thanks!

Edler is a head above the rest since he does it all (though he's not scoring much).

    I'd rank your top three:

    Edler
    Wis
    Johnson

In terms of goals/assists, what's the likelihood Haydn Fleury becomes a fantasy relevant d-man at all? By 2016?

By "relevant" let's say 37pts or more...

    Thanks, MD.

In a keeper with no salary implications, what side of this trade do you prefer

    Matt Duchene
    vs
Ondrej Palat, Teuvu Teravainen, 1st round pick (probably 15-20th overall in 2015 rookie draft)

    Stats in league:

G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, hits, blks, PIMs
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

Can you guess at three players you'd expect to be moved at Trade Deadline - and who will have a value-BUMP in leagues from the trade?

Prospects aren't my forte but I'd say Fleury has a decent shot at becoming fantasy relevant but I wouldn't count on it coming by 2016.

Odds of both go up if Carolina snipes one of McDavid or Eichel but go down if they end up with Hanifin.

Do you have any strategies for preparing for H2H playoffs?

I'll be 13-2 this week, and I'm beating teams by 50-100 points (team 2 sig). I've already looked at my playoff schedules, and am trying to figure out if I need to make some deals to maximize my games. That may involve dealing bigger players (ex: Ducks players), but I don't want to rock the boat too much.

    Any thoughts, or strategies?
    Yahoo, 1 yr, 10-team, H2H Pts
    G 5, A 2.5, +/- 0.25, SOG 0.5, PPG 1.7, PPA 0.85, SHG 3.4, SHA 1.7, PIM -0.7, HIT 1, BLK 1, GWG 2, FOW .5, FOL -0.2
    GS 1, W 5, L -2, GA -1.15, SA 0.10, SV 0.45, SO 2.5

    C (2): O'Reilly, Kopitar
    LW (2): Draisatl, B Tkachuk
    RW (2): Stamkos, J Miller
    D (3): Nurse, Pulock, Risto
Bench: Horvat, Glendening, Parayko, Seguin (IR)
    G: Shesterkin, Blackwood, Koskinen

Do you think Vanek will turn it around any time this year?

While Duchene has the scoring upside he's never proven himself so valuable as to be untradeable. Palat's closed enough distance, especially with your categories, that I'd rather have him with the extra assets to play with.

A couple that jump out right away because I've been all over them in the ramblings are Antoine Vermette and Chris Stewart.

Stewart would almost certainly see a bump (though he has already gotten something going with 10 in his last 15).

Vermette might not actually benefit much except for a plus/minus boost since he's getting top minutes right now.

But because I've already hyped those a bunch I'll toss you a few others:

    Jeff Petry
    Andrej Sekera
    Craig Anderson
    Zack Kassian
    Jaromir Jagr

Lining up playoff schedules is important. I've made moves to grab guys off the Rangers, Blues and Kings recently to prep for my five-week playoff run. More important though is to start buying low and selling high. If you go all out to line up your schedule but buy high across the board you may cost yourself some points.

You are 13-2 so obviously you've got some big breakout stars. Maybe time to cash some of those in for proven commodities.

Looking at my Protection List in my sig - is there any way I can protect David Perron this offseason?

We are adding two new teams, so I am 100% losing two players - who would you leave unprotected to shelter Perron, or would you even bother?

(Nylander and Kapanen had to be set at the start of the season - I can't change their Protection status).

I'm currently in 1st, hoping to have a little run of Championships over the next few years.

Depends on your expectations. I still think he can get to 55 points this year, which would involve a slight kick up in productivity. The problem is he's being used in a secondary role for the first time in years so I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

For the team in my sig, would you prefer to have Eichel and Tarasenko or Holtby and Wheeler?
