Default Mathieu Perreault - Carcillo at it again

Cheapshots Matthieu Perreault from behind with at crosscheck to the upper arm. Wouldn't be surprised if he broke Perreaults arm.

Title should read Carcillo of course. I don't know why teams keep employing him.

I'm so sick of players like this. Just get rid of them already! They don't change. At least throw the book at them in a major way at every single opportunity.

Looks very possible that he broke Perreault's arm. One of the hottest players in the league over the last month or two, taken out by a dirty weasel who averages 8 minutes a game. Makes me sick.

Who is really to blame here: Carcillo, the perpetrator, or the teams that continue to employ these guys who do this kind of stuff. Maybe if Carcillo, or any player for that matter, gets more than five games for a dirty hit like that, then the team should pay a fine too. Maybe a fine equal to the amount of money they would have spent on the player who gets suspended. That might smarten them all up.

I think it's the player. I don't see Chicago as an exceptionally dirty team.

Some of these guys, particularly guys like him and Cooke, just don't have the maturity to rein themselves in.

First of all, funny intro to that clip, well done haha

Second - that's gotta be a broken arm. Man, that sucks for him. You see this sometimes - a player with some upside is really breaking loose and convincing you that he could be a star. Then he's out for two months, returns, and is stuck in a different role and can't recapture the magic. Let's hope he still finds a way to pick up where he left off. Career turning point

Perreault did not even see him and gets it right around the elbow with extreme force, that is brutal. This is the dirty garbage that needs to be removed from the game. That is assault with a weapon if you do it on the street, should be treated the same. Not as bad as Mcsorley but that is serious.
