Mike Lee to be called up to Arizona?
Mike Lee will probably be called up soon to serve as Arizona's backup goaltender.
The Coyotes need another netminder after they traded Devan Dubnyk. If Lee is summoned, he probably won't get much playing time behind Mike Smith.

I can't imagine they want a guy that young riding the pine for too long. I imagine they'll want Lee back in the minors getting big minutes soon.
I have to think McKenna gets the call eventually - he's already over 30 - he's already peaked in terms of development, but he should be a serviceable backup.

Also Lee didn't even stick in the AHL - he got sent down to the ECHL - odd move by the Coyotes if he really is their answer behind Smith.

Yes he was in the ECHL. Maybe when they start dealing they'll trade for a goalie as part of a deal.
