Im thinking Biron is the way to go
I\'m in a keeper but we can only keep one goalie and I have kipper so I\'m pretty sure I\'d be keeping him over whichever second goalie I\'m about to pick. stats are:
Wins (W)
Goals Against Average (GAA)
Saves (SV)
Save Percentage (SV%)
Shutouts (SO)
I\'m debating between
Osgood - will get tons of wins and good stats, but how many games will he play with conklin and howard waiting in the wings? also he wont\' get many saves, but his numbers will be good.
Biron - Philly is looking pretty good and biron is a solid goalie.
Leclaire - CBJ keeps getting better and leclaire was awesome last year. Can he keep it up? Another upside for him is if Kipper somehow falters and leclaire shines, maybe he could be my G keeper instead.
I could throw Gerber, DiPietro, and Vokoun (save machine on FLA) in there as well, but I like the other guys all more.
Im thinking Biron is the way to go
Well it is tough to argue Brosal04\'s recomendation - but just for the heck of it I will try.
Niiti sits behind Biron and if Biron stumbles a little, Niiti will get a shot and ride it until that reverses. Niiti is a very strong reserve goalie for the Flyers. Biron should put up good numbers generally. Not a bad choice.
However, I think Osgood is the better call - he won\'t get you a huge number of saves but his GAA will be superb - he will win nearly 70% of his starts and get his share of SHO. His save percentage will also be very solid. He just took the Wings to the cup and is the undisputed starter - they won\'t overwork him but he should get close to 60 starts I think. Conks could challenge but as much as he was stellar with the Pens last season - I have a hard time forgetting just how unstellar he was with the Oil. Not much of a threat I think. I still think the Wings will bring Howard along gently - they are in no hurry on him unless things really fall apart in net this season - not likely.
Osgood no doubt.
I can also only keep one goalie, which will be Fleury and Osgood will be in the draft. He´s No1 on my short list!
In a one year league, definitely Osgood. He\'ll put up really good numbers as Shoeless said.
Osgood might not make many saves but his numbers will be top 5 in the league. Also with Kipper as your #1 he will make enough saves to make up for Osgood.

Since you don\'t care about keeping the goalie beyond this year, Osgood is the way to go for sure. He never gets the love, even with Hasek out of the picture.
Osgood.. he will get more wins and will have very good GAA stats
