Not giving up too much at all... this is great in your favor.
You get your 10th keeper & you add a 1st rounder for two players you wouldn't be keeping. Both Ladd / Steen can likely be adequately replaced on FA.

Awesome trade. Wheeler over Ladd is a decent upgrade, and a 1st for Steen is robbery. Take that in a second, especially if you have Kunitz returning shortly. Great move.
