that's about where you should value him
Here's a tough one guys. I know in one of my leagues he could be made available. Its a salary dynasty, h2h, standard cats (g/a/pts/pim/sog/ppp/shp/+/-) . No hits or blks, and no advantage given to defensemen scoring.
What is his value? Will he be viewed as a d for years to come?
I feel the owner is asking for way too much for him. I like him and need the help at D and like that he can slot in as RW if needed, but where would you draw the line?
Request so far is:
M. Domi + C. Coyle + Spurgeon + 1st round pick (will likely be somewhere around 10th overall, year is yet to be determined, but he is asking for a 2015)
Is this too much or am I selling Buffy short?

Normally yes, but hits don't count in this league.
This year he's on pace for like 35-40 points and was playing RW up until recently. If he was a full time D for sure, I would probably agree, but I fear he will always have that issue where he could lose D eligibility.
